Clinical neuromuscular research in the Department of Neurology

The Building Research Aspirations in Neurology (BRAIN) program in the Department of Neurology at NYU Langone is an intensive, hands-on research experience for undergraduate students. The program supports the development of future clinician–scientists in neurology and consists of a 10-week intensive summer program followed by a 1-year research commitment.

As part of an adult vaccination project, I conducted database research on vaccine policy environment and analyzed best practices of vaccine information disclosure set in place by 11+ countries.

Under the GreenFirst Sustainability Initiative, created a Healthcare X Sustainability Database that compiles NYU researchers’ publications on the intersection of public health, sustainability, pollution, and climate change. The Database is accessible to the public and serves as an educational resource that illustrates how hospitals can demonstrate leadership and allow research to drive meaningful changes in practice and care.

Coordinated service events and promoted service engagement opportunities for the Liberal Studies community at NYU. Participated in a year-long weekly Service Learning Seminar that integrates intensive weekly service practice with academic coursework and critical reflection.
