The Movember Foundation are the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year-round. Movember have 210+ employees primarily operating from 4 global hubs. Based at the Richmond Australian hub, I deliver technical projects to all Movember’s employees throughout the world. Movember primarily raise funds through its annual Movember campaign where men are encouraged to grow a moustache in November and raise both funds and awareness for men’s health. Movember annually raises $80M globally with over $20M in Australia alone.

Mars Inc. is a family owned global company with more than 100-year heritage and very strong culture. Mars Inc. have 80,000+ employees in more than 100 countries, with 7 manufacturing sites in Australia/NZ region. Based at Wendouree was Mars Chocolate Australia’s head office and manufacturing facility supporting 500+ associates based onsite and around Australia. Overall responsible to deliver ICT infrastructure and services at 2 business sites (factory head office and shared Melbourne sales office).

VECCI was established in 1851 and is the peak body for business in Victoria, informing and servicing more than 15,000 members, customers and clients. Services offered includes a comprehensive training portfolio, apprenticeship support, workplace relations support, business advocacy, corporate events and sub-entities consisting of a CCI Lawyers legal practice, Melbourne Chamber of Commerce and the Victoria Tourism Industry Council. With more than 20 sites based around Victoria, I was based at VECCI’s head office in East Melbourne. Initially employed under-contract to manage and improve the ICT Service Desk my role was quickly expanded to include all ICT infrastructure and operations. Responsible for the day-to-day IT ensuring high availability of all ICT services, high quality service and support, and the continuous improvement of IT systems, processes and other projects as required. Included direct management of two staff and all infrastructure required to support 250 staff.

I was responsible for the delivery of the Service Desk for a major New Zealand banking organisation (30 staff / 14,000 contacts per month).
