Experienced 6 weeks in Dublin, Derry, Connemara, and Galway to appreciate Ireland’s rich culture and society by analyzing its films, media, and community dynamics, documenting my experiences in multiple formats. Attended Galway's 2019 Film Fleadh to screen and review fiction and non-fiction films.Examined the social and cultural context of Galway with a special focus on film to document the stories of local residents and their communities. Partnered with youth development organization, Foróige, to learn about food waste in the community. Produced a 2:24 minute documentary on the food rescue program, COPE Galway, and how they combat food insecurity using C300s and XC15s. This final product is included in the final student created website combining various interactive forms of media.
