I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist II at Propel Schools, a network of public charter schools that aims to transform the lives of underserved students through innovative education. I joined Propel Schools in September 2023, after completing my Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Northern Kentucky University, where I learned how to apply psychological principles and research methods to improve the workplace environment, productivity, and well-being.In my current role, I collaborate with school leaders and HR managers to attract, recruit, and retain qualified and diverse teachers and staff for various academic and non-academic positions. I use my communication and critical thinking skills to conduct effective interviews, screenings, and assessments, and to provide feedback and guidance throughout the hiring process. I also help to design and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance the organizational culture, performance, and engagement at Propel Schools. I am passionate about helping people find a job they love, and contributing to the mission and vision of Propel Schools.
