In this role, I supported external executive communications for C-suite senior level executives at Microsoft. My role included strategic counsel and planning, messaging development, media relations, managing reactive media inquiries, planning and execution around announcements as well as providing daily LinkedIn strategy.

In this role, I assisted on multiple accounts across healthcare, nonprofit, technology and higher education. My daily responsibilities included creating media lists, drafting press releases, pitching media, market research, social media copy and media monitoring. - I routinely pitched and secured TV and print coverage for clients in various media markets.- Monitored online discussions and industry influencers during crisis situations and provide detailed analysis.-Social media strategy on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

I was tasked to build a social media presence from scratch using 95% organic reach with the overall objective to increase awareness by gaining 25% more followers by 2019. I Conducted and delivered strategic social media audits, content maps, and messaging matrices leveraging competitive research and emerging trends. I designed social media graphics and taglines that match the brands online personality and protocol. In six months gained 400+ followers on Facebook with organic reach.

In this role, I assisted in secondary market research and editorial research for arts organizations in Portland Oregon. I compiled research findings in excel sheets and formatted research documents for the publishing team.

As a Promotions intern, I took on a leadership role in planning, organizing and promoting events to engage potential ticket buyers with the Corvallis Knights. I managed development & implementation of a reading club community event for 24 schools in Corvallis, OR with a participation of 750 students. I also helped strategized and create promotional giveaways and content for 32 home games.

I spent the summer studying Sports and Arts Journalism abroad in London, England. I analyzed the perceived benefits of hosting major sporting events such as the Olympics and looked into the culture of sport around the world.Learned the best practices of sports journalism by attending major sporting events. I studied the techniques used by sports journalists and compared those techniques with those used by other news journalists.Events Attended: Wimbledon, Cricket match, Manchester United Public Relations presentation, Tour of the London 2012 Olympic Games campus.
