I love kids! I have a weekly job of babysitting and been responsible for 2 small children. I make sure they are engaged and active. I fed them snacks, take them to the park, and play games with them. It was the best! That job is part of the reason I determined I wanted to go into education. My sophomore and junior years in high school, I took child development and early childhood education 1 and 2. I got an A in each class and was certified in each as well. I had a great time in all of those classes and actually got experience planning lessons and teacher preschoolers in early childhood education. I have no problem being in front of a crowd. I've been performing on stage since I was 4 doing dance, singing (age 7) and acting (age 7) and I started acting on screen at 9. I've had various film and commercial acting jobs where I followed directions of directors, memorized scripts, took and implemented feedback, worked with members of the cast and crew and helped prepare props.I'm also a great student. I have a 4.0 GPA at provo high school and have been on the honor role ever quarter that I've been there. I have also been involved in many activities and clubs there. Those include, theater (participated in drama class and plays - won 3rd place in region drama festival with my partner), choir (in Provo High's Concert Choir, Bella Voce, and Chamber Singers - received a 1- at region solo and ensemble with my ensemble and lettered in vocal performance), dance (participated in dance 1 and 2), swim team (lettered in), ultimate frisbee club, JNHS (completed 20 service hours), NHS (completed 50 service hours each year) and Just serve club (completed 1,000 hours of service as a club). Outside of school I took piano lessons, voice lessons and served in leadership positions at church (Young Women Class President, Young Women Class Secretary, Young Women Class Birthday Specialist and Ward Young Women Camp Director).
