Agriculture is the backbone of our nation which keeps us thriving. Growing up I have always dreamed of staying in the agriculture industry and helping advance it within our nation. An ideal job would allow me to interact with both the consumers and producers. As an energetic and active individual I have never liked to be static which allows me to adjust to the most recent and necessary objectives. Over the years I have been involved in a wide variety of jobs from working retail at The Childrens Place to being on Team Purebreds Junior Board of Directors. Each of these has provided me with the opportunity to gain many different abilities. One of the most important attributes I have obtained would be inter-generational communication. Working at a children’s clothing store challenges one to communicate with individuals of all ages while being able to stay on task. While on Team Purebred’s Junior Board of Directors I have further improved my communication skills as well as honed in organizational and leadership skills. In addition to the above strengths I also possess the ability to be serious and finish tasks while being fun and involving others. I live by the motto “fight hard and don’t go half way”. I believe this is a motto many should live by because it is never worth going half way in life. To prepare for the future I have involved myself in many organizations that allow me to further my inter-generational communication skills.
