Working as freelance consultant to the elections division at the Colorado Department of State, provided senior-level technical oversight and direction to the development of a mission-critical web-based electronic pollbook, allowing for statewide same-day voter registration and real-time registration, ballot and elections management- a first-of-its-kind system in the United States. Lead the architecting of the application with a focus on performance, security and reliability. Oversaw load and system-continuity testing to ensure successful election-day performance of the production system.

During my time in this position, I worked as a member of a ten-person team of independent consultants, leading the organizations' initial iOS development offerings.
