Having moved to the area from Illinois via military relocation at five years old, I grew up in Bay County, Florida. I attended Lynn Haven Elementary School, Rosenwald Middle School, and then finally graduated with honors from the Communication Technology Academy at Rutherford High School. I began working at 15 years old, and haven’t stopped since. I have worked in a variety of fields, and have found my passion in public relations, business development, and marketing.My full-time career is for Destination Panama City as their Sports & Special Events Liaison. I love playing my part in Destination Panama City’s mission as it brings tourists to the area which helps local businesses thrive. I am extremely involved in the community and serve as Chair of the PCB Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee. I was awarded the PCB Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year Award for 2022 and Ambassador of the Year for 2023.After decades of watching women around me deal with gender related discrimination and trauma, and struggling with these issues myself, I decided that it was time for a change. I teamed up with Co-founders Brittany Tucker and Beth Klein to bring Fempowerment to life. Our mission is simple – promote the empowerment, growth, development, and support of women. By utilizing a combination of meaningful collaboration, open communication, and genuine connection, Fempowerment strives to make a positive impact on every woman we reach. We offer monthly meet ups for members to come together and meet in an environment free of judgement and full of support - a truly safe space for women. Fempowerment also holds social events where everyone, including their male allies, are encouraged to join.
