About Aubrey Grant

I come from a family of architects in which creativity, inspiration, and imagination are as highly valued as functionality and practicality. These core principles have guided my career and life and are the essence behind Emotive Architecture.Focused on serving clients in the Washington, DC area, but with projects extending across the country, I work with all key stakeholders in the real estate and building industries and select government agencies. Whether my clients want a comprehensive vision for a new custom project or want to reimagine or repurpose an existing space, I lead a talented team in creating design solutions that spur powerful positive emotions. I love creating spaces that flow organically while delivering assured livability and workability. We work collaboratively by listening, discussing, debating, and imagining, taking the time to understand the client’s needs, hopes, and aspirations for the space. We look for every opportunity to enhance functionality while never losing sight of the critical aesthetics that will set the area apart from the ordinary. We create spaces people want to go home, work, and relax in. Environments that inspire. That’s a good design supported by proven processes and a highly experienced, responsible, and committed team. 🔷 CBE Certified Contractor | The Department of Small and Local Business Development🔷 Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority🔷 Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority🔷 MBE Certification | National Minority Supplier Development Council🔷 Black-Owned and Operated
