Testimony led to California Bill AB 267, staffed by Assembly Member Jones Sawyer, which would legally require plea defendants be informed of collateral consequences of incarceration

Allen Counter by nomination and vote from the Faculty Advisory Committee and administrative staff for 4 years of service in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion• Cultural Rhythms Co-Director (2013-2014), Elected to highest leadership position as co-director of Harvard’s largest cultural performance showcase. Managed $65,000 budget with other co-director and over 400 associates including vendors, interns, staff, and performers. Launched initiative to diversify lighting and sound vendor selection for future shows. Secured partnership with non-profit with Brighter Boston to expose underprivileged high school students to theater production• Student Advisory Committee Co-Chair (2012-2013).
