I strive to be friendly and engaging to create a welcoming environment for both my coworkers and customers. I continually find myself observing the people around me and offering support when it is needed. I have been independently managing a small business’s financial accounts for over three years. I organize their accounts payable/receivable by matching the invoices I send and receive with the checks I send and receive. At the end of each quarter, I come together with my manager to analyze the financial statements. I also work as a bakery clerk at Russ’s Market where I interact respectfully with customers and maintain the bakery efficiency through restocking and cleaning. My managers have commended me on my abilities to self-start, my attention to detail, and being able to understand and perform things quickly. I have been able to develop my collaboration and communication skills through my position at Russ’s Market, which has taught me how to work well in a team. I am interested in the managerial side of accounting through budgeting and creating reports/financial statements. I am passionate about helping others make smart decisions with their business so they can create the best company possible.
