- Project: “Functional Inverse Prediction Using Elastic Shape Analysis”- Directly supported the National Technical Nuclear Forensics Center’s (NTNFC) nuclear forensics program in helping define an inverse model for Pu(III) curves extracted from scanning electron microscope imagery.- Implemented models and performed various data analysis and visualization via MATLAB.

Evan Johnson- Project: “The TBSignatureProfiler: Developing a Novel R Package for Comparing Tuberculosis Gene Expression Signatures”- Wrote and documented several functions and developed a package vignette as part of the TBSignatureProfiler R package, which was accepted to Bioconductor 3.11.- Assessed data quality of raw sequencing FASTQ files using FastQC and MultiQC and aligned sequencing reads to the human genome using Rsubread for subjects with active TB exhibiting hot lesions in lungs.- Conducted analyses of Indian and African cohort TB data with malnutrition and HIV comorbidities via heatmap visualizations, cross-validated logistic regression, ROC curves and AUC bootstrapping.
