I work both in one on one settings as well as in groups with children ranging from kindergarten age to high school age. We work on building vocal techniques as well as stage presence. To do this I need to refine the way I approach this instruction depending on the circumstance and the student. In addition to (and often simultaneously) we are preparing group and solo acts to compete in regional and national competitions during the year.

I lead poetry workshops with 7th grade students where I introduced them to poetry and the different elements and techniques involved in writing poetry and served as a guide for them to beginning producing their own work.
