Develop solutions with Microsoft .NET and ESRI Developer tools, including the JavaScript API, Web AppBuilder and the Python API that support the operations of the GIS Services division.

Build web maps with C#.NET and the ESRI JavaScript API which allow for advanced editing of SQL Spatial geometry in the web browser, consume and expose web services, construct responsive web sites that are compatible with mobile devices, and write python scripts which interact with ArcGIS Server.

As a member of the Enterprise Geospatial Services team, involved in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, configuration, testing and deployment of the following:- Interactive web mapping applications that are accessed by the public on the City website, using ArcGIS Server map services and Latitude Geographics Geocortex software.- Custom tools and scripts that interface with the City's GIS data and are used by staff in departments across the City, using JavaScript (Node.js/AngularJS), C#.NET/ArcObjects, Safe Software Feature Manipulation Engine and Python/ArcPy.

Designs and develops enhancements to a web-based Integrated Transportation Management System using .NET and JavaScript. Products include a Photolog Viewer, Pavement Viewer, Project Programming System and Right of Way Management System.

Acting as a librarian for a central repository of geospatial records. Search and obtain new GIS datasets, research and compose detailed metadata entries, convert to standard formats, streamline attribute tables, merge and split layers as needed to maintain directory structure and naming conventions. Use model builder and python scripting to automate large data processing tasks.

Field map and report figure creation for various engineering projects. Development and maintenance of SDSFIE standard personal geodatabases. Presentation of GIS data in client meetings. Created national flood rate insurance maps (FIRMs) according to FEMA specifications using ArcGIS 8.3 geodatabases and 8.2 coverages. Projects involved digitizing, data conversion, spatial editing and attribution to create a digital data repository, as well as annotation and symbology to produce hard copy maps. Also supported the FEMA headquarters as a disaster reservist creating maps to assist relief efforts during hurricanes.

General office support, USGS library research, document preparation, and Excel spreadsheet creation for use in groundwater hydrology research. Created GIS maps of monitoring well locations and groundwater elevation contours.

Determined land cover change adjacent to streams in the Chesapeake Bay watershed by examining digital orthophotos from different time periods. Created shapefiles in ArcView 3.1 showing land cover classes and calculated the change in area between these polygons. Compared the land cover changes to changes in vegetation indices derived from remote sensing data, and authored a report detailing the findings.

Examined old parcel maps in order to create a GIS shape file in ArcView that displayed the locations of all the buildings removed by this national park. Presented an oral report on findings and methodology. Created a paper map to be posted in the visitors center and an on-screen display with hot links to photographs.
