Current• Ensure inventory needs by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations.• Order and receive supplies and materials• Follow and memorize over 200 complex recipes.• Measure, weigh and prepare ingredients.• Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards.• Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools.• Ice and Decorate cakes for custom orders.• Plate and decorate desserts for banquets for up to 3000 patrons.• Evaluate ingredients and food for quality.• Create new recipes and convert current recipes to meet production needs.• Follows and researches latest trends and techniques in the pastry industry.
