Supplier to online retailer Asos and High Street multiple New Look (Woven and Jersey, dresses and soft separates)- Developing new shapes, fits and blocks on multi product from woven evening dresses to casual jersey tops- Working closely with design team on silhouette and essence of garment- Interpretation of sketches and creation of technical drawing & specifications liaising with design and production team- use technical expertise to help improve fit/ finishing/ costing- creation of initial pattern and management of proto sample- review of samples for approval before meetings and fit- Fittings & amendments and hand over to production team

Women leisurewear, wholesaling (AIS) and retailing through concessions (approx 250). Production is based in the Far East and the turnover around 65,000 garments per months.- Product analysis, research & development- Creation of mood boards and colour schemes (CAD) + presentation- Development of prints and embellishment (CAD) around selected storyboards- Collate initial master colour standard- Create range plan and drawings of each garments using Illustrator and Photoshop- Produce CADs of detailed artwork for factories (embroidery, beading, appliqués and prints)- Advise on garment's fit and construction- Review prints and embellishments for approval- Review colour lab dips and trims for approvalAchievements: Designed best sellers – Improved development of new concepts, artwork quality & design – Instigated systematic use of CAD.

Womenswear premium brand specialised in garment dye and knitwear, collaborating with craftspeople and artisans around the world, wholesaling (Pure) to 150 independent UK stockists and department stores (John Lewis, House of Fraser) as well as retailing into its 9 standalone stores.- Participate in producing storyboards from market research and analysis of store feedback- Fabrics & trims sourcing and selection through supplier base and visits to PV and TexWorld- Generate sampling purchase orders - Contribute in production of range plans and colour schemes- Collate, distribute and update colour standards and fabric programs- Create and update technical specification packs- Style supervision from concept to prototypes communicating with factories- Seasonal visits to factories in Holland, Poland, Denmark for design development- Liaise with factories on a daily basis tracking progress and resolve any issues- Conduct fit session and comment on garment modifications and technical adjustment- Produce final grading spec for production- Approve fit and seal production sample, checking and measuring each production sample- Review and authorise suppliers invoices - Presentation of the collection at trade shows (Pure and Moda)- Monthly visits to factories in Morocco coordinating and QC'ing productionAchievements: Contributed to the evolution of the range and the development of new products – Improved communication with the factories - Improved sizing, fits and making – Introduced a fit and quality control system.
