About Audra Tassone
As one of the many people working for a company impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, I have found myself recently pursuing new opportunities after 11 successful years with The IRONMAN Group (World Triathlon Corporation). Like many people, I’m taking this time to reflect and dig deep, in order to selectively – rather than impulsively – consider new opportunities. For as long as I've been in Event Planning, Operations and Management my job has always been to look at the blank canvas, create and communicate the vision, and deliver results - and not just to Corporate - but to our participants and athletes. I love creating something MEMORABLE for them. As I consider my next role, it’s important to me to be able to leverage all of the skills I’ve honed over the years, while still finding that same level of enjoyment in what I do. As someone who quite literally transforms piles of dirt into profitable, safe, 4,000-person race experiences, I have to weigh every single detail, risk, and expense in order to create a fun and successful event. And I love it!As an athlete myself, with 20+ triathlons and half-marathons under my belt, I know how to build and inspire teams, dig for resilience, and hustle with a sense of purpose. Additionally, I bring to the table:- 17+ years of Event Management and Operations experience with a focus on large-scale, outdoor, athletic events and runs. I've planned and executed 100+ triathlons and races, providing the ultimate experience for more than 400,000 participants.- Experience w/ Annual Budgets up to $15MM and the skills to provide accurate revenue projections, market forecasting, resource allocation, and pricing to Leadership.- A demonstrated success in establishing charitable partnerships through fundraising in order to bring corporate and non-profit communities together to support populations in need. I spearheaded events that helped to raise $2.4MM in annual donations for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and $350K for The Make-A-Wish Foundation.- Strong KML files experience (i.e., using Google Earth for land/course design and mapping) in addition to MS office and MS Publisher. - Previous owner of A&A PaninoAudra.tassone@gmail.com
Listed skills include Event Management, Fundraising, Sports, Event Planning, and 43 others.
