Facilitated lessons and workshops for up to 22 racially diverse participants, focusing on building and integrating Social Emotional Skills into learning activities. Created, developed, and implemented customized learning activities aligned with participants' employment and learning goals, incorporating authentic workplace documents. Developed effective teaching materials with handouts, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and other resources, to support lessons and teach goal attainment methods. Fostered an environment that promoted open communication between coach and client while maintaining professional boundaries. Collaborated closely with the Program Coordinator and partner groups to provide updates and ensure best practices in coaching sessions tailored to individual needs. My role entailed providing support to the Private Banker, by maintaining the delivery of the Black Card Experience through servicing our high net worth clients in the most timely, efficient, and professional manner. During the Private Banker's absence, I was the go-to point-of-contact for our clients. I assisted and facilitated their everyday banking needs. Part of delivering a simpler, better, and faster service was to continually develop client contact strategies proactively with the Private Banker based on individual clients’ needs, offering them the right products and services. My responsibility included educating clients on online/mobile banking, so they felt enabled and empowered by having full access to their own banking products. By providing ongoing review of clients' needs, I was assisting the Private Banker in the identification of cross-sell opportunities, and the planning and executing of sales campaigns.

One of 5 people selected to participate in a nationwide pilot program – Distributed Workforce (DW) Project Vancouver Test and Learn. The dual-role combined and put to test two positions – Advice Centre Banking Advisor spending half-time handling inbound calls at Steveston Branch and half-time servicing clients face-to-face on the line-up. Provided feedback on challenges within the role and technology that may need improvement. Attended multiple roundtables with Executives and Vice Presidents to discuss execution of this new role. As a team-player, my participation in the pilot program aimed to bridge the gap between the contact centre and the retail branch, service clients by providing expert advice and build consistency between departments. The dual-role proved cost-effective.

Embraced teaching Assertiveness Skills course -- part of a “Life Skill” Program -- with the aim of helping students thrive and integrate in our local community. Directing and managing up to 18 varying groups of students in a classroom-setting on a monthly basis had given me the opportunity to continually grow my people skills. Keeping my students engaged in their learning was great for retention and an excellent way to build reputation and grow the business.
