In my role as Vice President of Physician Recruitment and Retention for OneGI, I lead the comprehensive physician recruitment efforts of our practice affiliates. I provide direct contractual and relational support to general and subspecialized physicians. Areas of expertise include full spectrum contract negotiations, while maintaining soft relational skills with doctor’s post hire. Daily duties consist of physician education surrounding Private Equity in Healthcare, reviewing physician compensation models with various components including salary guarantees, wRVU’s, Quality Metrics and other productivity models. My position requires collaboration with legal counsel pertaining to medical directorships, call contracts, lease and sublease agreements, addendums and amortization schedules. Over 17 years I have successfully placed over 200 physicians nationally. During this time, I have served practices of multiple size and affiliation, including hospital employed positions, multi-specialty private groups, independent practitioners, as well as research and academically focused clinicians. Recent education includes MACRA/MIPS compensation programs as well as new social media recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems. I am versed in the federal student loan forgiveness program and have honed my skills at utilizing fair market value surveys. Other areas of responsibilities include close involvement in medical staff development plan and offering consultation regarding human resource policies, regulatory guidelines, immigration laws, and licensing requirements. As a subject matter expert in all thing's physician recruitment, I provide educational sessions to residents, wishing to become versed in contract negotiations, private equity/group/hospital employment models, interview etiquette and many other facets of recruitment. My true passion is developing lasting physician relationships where I can excel at physician retention and burnout prevention initiatives.
