Medical/Surgical/Pediatric floor (including adult off-site telemetry)Duties included but not limited to: physical assessment of patients, formulation of care plans, administration of ordered medications, communication both verbal and written with attending physician and other health care and non-health care professionals, patient care including pre and post-op care, wound care, diabetic and renal management including CAPD and education, intravenous therapy, orthopedic care, end of life care, blood transfusions, feeding pump management, IV therapy management, management of implanted ports and nurse blood draws from ports, Foley care, assistance for bedside procedures including central line placement, blood patches, removal of central lines, staples, obtaining of swabs for culture, use of electronic patient recordWORK COMMITTEES: Restraints Committee, Electronic Medication Committee

Labor/Delivery/Nursery)Duties included but not limited to: physical assessment of newborns and post partum women, newborn care including bathing, cord and circumcision care, assisted with circumcisions, routine newborn injections and screening, breast feeding education
