I am an aspiring physician assistant, motivated by the changing laws in the medical field. I want to create a safe space for my patients, which I’ve been actively achieving through therapeutic communication, 2000+ patient contact hours, and monitoring their physical and mental well-being.Through my valuable education as a Health Science Major at Johnson & Wales University, I have gained experience as the Vice-President of the Pre-Professional Health Club. I organized various events for the school, including our annual blood drive, and communicated with Health professionals in various fields to create a network for our students. As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Elmhurst Nursing and Rehab, I am often tasked with monitoring and aiding patients in their activities of daily living, I monitor their vitals and chart them, and communicate with the nurses and other care staff about their care plan.
