In high school I was member of many different clubs and societies. Hospitality Club made sure I improved my organisational skills as we were in charge of planning and coordinating a number of different formal events. Conservation Club helped me become more aware of our environment and how much we need to protect and preserve it. I play the violin and the piano and so the Orchestra, Strings and Choir club provided me with a space where my more creative and musical side could come out. Model United Nations helped me improve my Communication, Research and Writing skills and also helped me keep up with current events. Gavel Club is closely related to Toastmasters and so my public speaking, communication and listening skills were improved as we often had riveting debates about some controversial topics. I have worked as a Personal Assistant to the Senior Project Coordinator of Safe Base Fundraising, a student led non governmental organisation that fights for disability rights, a Reception Assistant at the Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Harare, Zimbabwe where I was required to escort patients to their respective scans and work with administration to process patients going through chest x-rays for their immigration documents. I also work part-time at Dirk Langegracht as a shelf filler.
