    As Graphic Designer, I worked closely with advertising sales reps to build ads for the magazines. As Managing Editor, I assigned out all the articles, managed payroll and staffing for the writers, received the articles in and conducted the initial proofreading. I sent all articles to the copy editor and managed payroll and staffing for that contracted position. And I provided additional editorial as needed for the magazines - any small filler articles, titles and subtitles. Additionally I conducting final proofreading of the magazine pages before they went to press, ensuring appropriate by lines and finer details for accuracy. As Production Manager and Art Director, I worked with the printers on deadlines and annual print schedules, produced all the article layouts and general design elements of both magazines. I worked with the photographer to design editorial photo shoots and produced the covers of both magazines. Finally, getting all the pages print ready to the printer's specs and sending to press.
