Ms. Fields is currently the Principal for a K – 6 School in the William Penn School District. Ms. Fields possesses a deep understanding of student learning, curriculum, and assessment. She has learned, in her efforts to build literate classrooms for urban children, the value of artful leadership in creating a culture of possibility and collegiality. Prior to being the Assistant Principal for 4 years, she was an educator for over a two decades in public and private school settings, teaching grades ranging from 2nd to 5th, Special Education, and Remedial Reading. Mrs. Fields holds two Master's degrees, one in Reading and another in Administrative Leadership. She is certified as a Reading Specialist and a K-12 Principal. Ms. Fields served the Girl Scouts of Southeastern PA in her community as a Service Unit Manager, responsible for 6 troops as well as led her own Junior Girl Scout troop weekly.
