Transit Survey CoordinatorSan Luis Obispo Council Of Governments - Slocog.Org Nov 2011 - Jan 2013San Luis Obispo, Ca, UsWhile working as a transit survey coordinator, I managed a team of 17 transit surveyors to survey the regional vehicle miles travelled (VMT) of all San Luis Obispo County transit systems fixed routes. As a part of a analysis of the surveys, I prepared summary tables of the distribution of transit trip reduction benefits among all transit systems. The status of reduction in VMT was used as a factor to decide on allocation of State Transit Assistant Funds. As a result, I presented data collected and analyzed to the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council and prepared the staff report, study summary, and presentation to the SLOCOG Board of Supervisors. -

Autocad Drafter At Uc Irvine Transportation And Distribution ServicesUc Irvine Nov 2009 - Aug 2011Irvine, Ca, UsWhile a student at UC Irvine, working for the UCI Transportation and Distribution Services, I project managed an effort to create and design a new inventory system for all of department’s amenities. Under this effort I created a methodology for tracking and logging amenities for the main purpose of informing emergency agencies of their locations. Management also included product research, project deliverables scheduling, and project product investigation. As an AutoCAD drafter there, I consulted and collaborated with the department’s Civil Design Team to design bike and parking amenities on campus. In addition to my priority tasks, I created a municipal manual of details for the department’s amenities, including the provision of design specifications. One of my last projects while working there, I also developed plan to reduce bike/pedestrian collisions on campus through the use of warning signs, asphalt/pavement striping, and presented the proposed plan to Department Director and Department Director of Operations. -
