Using plans and specifications provided, review the Total Estimated Quantities (TEQ), and evaluate what items are needed to determine the completion date for highway construction projects. Maintain and update a standard table of production time factors for highway construction work. Use Primavera to calculate time determinations for each project, update data base and pricing for materials. Schedules and implements training for field and other personnel. Takes action to implement logistics for all training needs in the Construction Staff Office. Establish training location, retain consultants/trainers (when needed) review and approve applications, determine pass/fail, maintain current database for WYDOT and Industry use. Coordinates participation with the field and does follow-up on attendance and certification upon completion of said training. Verify that billing charges are correct, code and submit billing for payment. Manage traffic control supervisor certification program. Provide training and logistical support for the training for the program. Maintain database of certified traffic control supervisors for use by the state and industry. Review applications from industry and verify information is correct. I also assist with Prequalification of contractors, bid envelopes and subcontractors approval. Prior to this position, I worked in the WYDOT Materials Lab where I worked with MicroStation as well as Primavera, Word, and Excel. Familiar with running reports, filing and operating office equipment, collecting data for various sources and presenting the information. Proficient in the use of Google, including docs, sheets, forms and presentations and outstanding Customer Service.
