Eventually I took on planning the renewal of damaged underground cables. The role was developed to complete provision work, which involved going out to the site to meet with stakeholders to discuss requirements and surveying to find a solution where there wasn't existing capacity in the network. Finally, when planning the work, I ensured that all the appropriate processes and legislation were followed and oversaw installations (when required).

Then, if required, arranging a suitable solution for all parties, keeping the customers informed throughout.
