Operations Senior Manager for the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, a corporate level entity, providing strategic response forces capable of deploying on short notice anywhere in the world by land, sea, or air and to conduct Joint Force Entry operations as an Army, Joint, or Combined Headquarters; Manages the global deployment and operational readiness of tactical and strategic platforms, principal advisor to the Assistant Chief of Staff for all operations; manages the enforcement of established policies and standards, supervises the operation and control of movement for personnel and cargo by air, rail, motor transport and water, maintenance of equipment and technical expert on all matters relating to transportation operations. Maintains records of strength, location and employment of transportation personnel and equipment. Coordinates and implements operations, administration, training programs and communications activities. Account for location, employment and deployment of organic operating equipment and maintenance activities, coordinates all transportation actions with subordinate companies and outside contractors. Consolidates, prepares, reviews and processes regular and special reports of corporate transportation activities. Plans, manages, and monitors motor transportation operations as the senior truck manager, prepares journey management reports. Receives and prepares highway reconnaissance data for motor convoy transport. Supervises and directs unit dispatching of vehicles. drafts for approval training directive and operations orders and analysis of various training reports, procures, designs, produces and distributes to subordinate companies a variety of training aids for the efficient operations and training; monitors, reviews, and analyzes all training and readiness reports, provides guidance in the preparation for and successful accomplishment of training.

Served as the Support Operations manager consisting of four Movement Control Teams and one Inland Cargo Transfer Company. Supervised, synchronized, and monitored all operations (internal/external) for transportation movement support, out load support and deployment readiness training. Ensured synchronization between different agencies/commands for the sourcing, prioritization and sustainment support of units within the Fort Bragg footprint. Responsible for the health, welfare and morale of 26 personnel.

Served as the Senior Transportation manager, logistical planner, and supply management specialist in the Brigade Modernization Command (BMC). Provided logistical support to the BMC and staff elements, lead planner and observer controller, sustainment, exercise control center working groups, and rehearsal of concept drills to advise senior management on Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) logistical constraints, impacts, and risk mitigation, planned prepared and executed integration capability evaluations by coordinating sustainment planning efforts with outside agencies to leverage resource and cost sharing, responsible for Reception, Staging, onward movement and Integration of all external participants. Responsible for the identification, resourcing and synchronizing of all logistic requirements and resources to execute semiannual exercises involving numerous Department of Defense agencies with $750M in property and over $100M in annual operational costs.

Served as the Chief Movement Manager responsible for planning, managing, executing, and analyzing the organization internal and future operations. Advised the Senior Advisor and operations officer on training related issues, developed and implemented the training program. Developed and prepared the lessons learned, tasking, training schedules, and reports. Ensured that the operations security and communications divisions were always prepared for deployment. Planned, coordinated, and executed the weapons qualifications training. Ensured that all travel orders and vouchers were completed on-time.

Severed as a transportation coordinator for the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division consisting of 6 Battalions and 30 Companies with over 3800 Soldiers and 1200 pieces of Equipment. Supervised and monitored all cargo movement, served as the transportation liaison between the Battalions and the Installation Transportation Office. Verified the accuracy of transportation movement requests, verified and updated the Organizations Equipment and Deployment List using the Transportation Coordinator Automated Information for Movements System II. Managed the daily operations of a 1200 employee service and support organization which plans, coordinates, synchronizes, and executes all forms of supply replenishment and warehouse operations, food service support, Roles 1 and 2 Army Health System, as well as field maintenance and recovery operations.

Served as the Detachment First Sergeant for a Forward Deployed Movement Control Team. Responsible for the training, heath, welfare, combat readiness, administration, discipline, professional development, and quality of life of 21 Soldiers. Monitored all Kuwait Rear Operations, coordinated Contractor Officer / representative duties and assignments. Provided oversight of all Kuwait Movement Control Teams in order to accomplish accurate auditing of assigned nodes and timely coordination of convoys moving throughout Kuwait. Provided guidance on day-to-day operations. Served as the primary advisor to the commander on all matters and assisted in planning, coordinating and supervision of all activities supporting the unit’s mission. Oversaw daily operations consisting of supply maintenance, training, and administration functions

Planned and conducted unit movement operations and operational maneuver. Planned, organized, and supervised the preparation and execution of the companies movement and personnel of over 400 people and 122 pieces of equipment valued at over $900K. Coordinated deployment operations with commercial agencies, planned and supervised the use of the Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movement System II to document the companies deployment inventory.

Managed transportation requests for over 46 units within a forward deployed element. Supervised and coordinated movement of over 4000 personnel during deployment and redeployment operations in support of Operations Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). Managed and coordinated reception and distribution of unit and installation owed containers. Monitored and updated the Brigade Organizational inventory. Reviewed and processed over 100 purchase requests and commitment packets. Coordinated passenger travel for all movement within the company through the Defense Transportation System. Functioned as the primary point of contact for all movement within the Brigade, Advised and assisted the unit movement officers on unit movement operations, coordinated material handling equipment in support of the Brigade, assisted units in Blocking and bracing of all equipment.

Provided supervision and technical guidance for subordinates. Researched, prepared, coordinated actions pertaining to the transportation coordinator course. Performed supervisor duties and enforced the command and Training Doctrine policies. Tested and evaluated all student examinations to ensure graduation requirements were met. Instructed the United States European Commands theater specific individual readiness training, responsible for the training of Soldiers, Department of Defense Civilians, and contractors prior to deployment to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other central command areas of operations, provided lecture and small group instruction while ensuring quality training to 20-60 students per cycle, supervised and ensured the safety of all hands on training on the situation training exercise (STX) lanes, conducted range operations to ensure all students qualified with their assigned weapons through mentorship and one-on-one training. Stayed up-to-date on current techniques, tactics, and procedures, updated the training materials and annexes to keep training relevant to the current tactical situation of all hands on training on the STX lanes, conducted range operations. Reamed abreast if all accreditation standard and communicates as necessary to the Battalion personnel and external contacts, coordinated and ensured the success of all Military Occupation Specialties (MOS) reclassification courses, ensured all course requirements and resources were available according to the Program of Instruction (POI), prepared and published the course scheduled and student welcome packets, evaluated other instructors and submitted instructor qualification packets to the proponent school certification officers.
