Primary responsibilities include; Consult with network SEL specialists and school-based leadership teams to identify priorities, develop action plans, and monitor progress. Support administrators, teachers, and other school staff in identifying root causes of student behavioral issues and ways to meet students social and emotional needs. Coach school staff in developing referral, assessment and progress monitoring systems. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled school behavioral team meetings to engage in collaborative problem-solving around appropriate school, classroom or student level interventions for referred students. Provide general technical assistance and professional development to schools on data entry, screenings, interventions, and replacement behaviors. Lead school staff in delivering evidence-based small group interventions and individual counseling interventions. Facilitate schools in developing community partnerships and linkages for social services and behavioral health supports for high risk students.

Assists the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) in meeting its Title I compliance tasks while working collaboratively with office specialists to provide a system of support for improving the teaching and learning of children in high-poverty schools. Primary responsibilities include; Provide support and consultation to schools. Review and approve school improvement grants and amendments. Provide technical assistance and professional development to schools and districts receiving school improvement funding before, during, and after implementation. Participate in school on-site monitoring visits to schools across Indiana, including preparation and planning for visit, leading pre-post meetings.Contributions to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), Indiana’s Early Learning Indiana Framework, FACE (Family and Community Engagement), MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) Framework, Indiana’s SIP (School Improvement Plan) process, School Improvement Network Development.

Applied behavior analysis is a discipline that focuses on understanding how the environment in which a person lives affects his behavior. Different principles and techniques of ABA are used to improve behaviors of people with developmental disabilities, such as autism. In addition to technical excellence, good communication and people skills help these analysts succeed on the job. Data and behavior are analyzed to create a behavior intervention plan for a client.

Case conference leader in organizing individual education plans for students who are eligible for special education services. Analyze pshyhcological evaluations on students and use reserach based interventions to provide students with the most effective and efficient educational experience. This also involves providing accomodations to a caseload of students at the high school level. Teaching Math and Business skills to special education students in a self contained setting by using data driven instruction and differentiated instrunctional tools.
