As a former Child Welfare Specialist turned Family Advocate, my journey has been one of passion, purpose, and dedication to empowering individuals and families in need. After time spent advocating for children's rights and supporting families through challenging circumstances, I made the decision to transition into the role of a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) and entrepreneur, combining my love for family with my entrepreneurial spirit.With a solid background in child welfare, I've always been driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. During my time as a Child Welfare Specialist, I worked tirelessly to ensure the safety, well-being, and permanency of children under my care. I collaborated with families, agencies, and community resources to provide comprehensive support and assistance, advocating for the best interests of every child.Embracing the role of a SAHM allowed me to prioritize my family while pursuing my dream of entrepreneurship. I founded my own cleaning business, where I applied my organizational skills and attention to detail to deliver exceptional service to my clients. This experience not only allowed me to manage my own business but also reinforced my leadership abilities and entrepreneurial mindset.Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree to further enhance my knowledge and skills in social justice, advocacy, and intervention strategies. My goal is to leverage my MSW education to continue serving individuals, families, and communities in need, addressing systemic issues and promoting positive change.As I prepare to reintegrate back into the workforce, I am eager to explore opportunities that align with my values, expertise, and career aspirations.
