During the Summer of 2017, I had several responsibilities while working at The painted Cupcake. When needed, I worked in the kitchen mixing ingredients, filling macaroons, scooping batter, cutting fondant, or decorating cupcakes. Other days, I worked at the cash register assisting customers, taking specialty orders, and keeping inventory of merchandise. I gained many new skills this summer, and learned about what it takes to run and keep up a small business.
