I am a Certified Social Worker residing in Salt Lake City, UT. I work as an Emergency Department Case Manager at 4 different hospitals.I am a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University’s advanced standing social work masters program. This is a trauma informed program that will help me work with clients using trauma-informed care. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work. I am a Provisional Mental Health Practitioner and a Provisional Master Social Worker.I was an AmeriCorps member from November 2022 to July 2023 as an Education Specialist with Lancaster Juvenile Probation under the judicial branch. I was hired on as an Investigations Officer in June of 2023 until August 2024 through graduate school. I loved working in juvenile justice and helping youth get the best resources to meet their unique needs.My other work experience lies in healthcare, I previously worked at Bryan Hospital as a phlebotomist from September 2018 to June 2023. This is a level II trauma center that gave me diverse patient experiences with over 10,000+ interactions.I have a wide variety of life skills that I plan to apply to my career as a social worker. I love to learn about how I can make a difference in both my community and in the lives of others! I’m passionate about higher education and seeking a career where my workplace values diversity and maximizing potential in all people.
