I have worked in the field of retail security close to 8 years. In my career, I have had the opportunity for advancement including management and supervisory roles. In pursuing those opportunities, not only was I able to learn so aspects of the retail business from a support standpoint such as trends, operations, company policy/procedures and systems, I ultimately found a true passion which is Customer Service. In making the switch to the high end retail market, I was very fortunate to work for two great companies with a rich company history and a strong business philosophy that focuses on creating an exceptional customer oriented culture within their stores. In these positions, I was able to expand on my previous management experience by not only fulfilling the responsibilities of my job, but ultimately striving to exceed the expectation of our clientele. In every position I held, I worked closely with store management and associates alike to learn and understand new business practices that contributed to the bottom line. I made sure, I got involved in projects and took on additional tasks that would help encourage store sales and the overall culture of the store. Colleagues know me as highly ambitious and determined in putting forth my very best effort into any tasks I am assigned and for my strong work ethic. I have always led by example and been willing to help at any given moment. Often, my colleagues including managers would find me as a reliable source for information or aide for additional support. I have always been a team player,and never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas.
