-Assist in the planning and implementation of the District wide resource development (fundraising) program to raise funds from new and existing sources. Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards individual/family foundation and institutional donors and prospects.-Donor/Prospect cultivation- Identifies, cultivates, manages, and builds a portfolio of 100-15-0 individual, non-corporate and corporate organization donor prospects capable of giving gifts in support of the colleges, District and Foundation; implement an annual operating plan for portfolio; assist with the development of information/materials required for cultivation and solicitation; writes, edits and proofread proposals, reports, letters and other correspondence.-Stewardship: implement individual donor stewardship program to acknowledge, recognize and provide accountability for expenditure of gifts to donors, including preparation and delivery of confidential reports.- Support fundraising programs at the colleges, Districts and Foundation, including annual fund, major gifts, planned gifts, alumni relations, cultivation, and stewardship events.

-Host in-person planning meetings and focus groups, as well as regular conference calls and webinars;-Build and maintain an in-depth client history, understanding themes and inflection points; -Develop and implement print- and web-based PR strategy-Conduct 5-month feasibility studies to (a) identify and target major donor prospects, (b) develop a case for support, (c) determine fundraising plausibility, and (d) present recommendations for moving forward;-Conduct 12-15 month capital campaigns including (a) identify and solicit major donor prospects, (b) develop and implement a marketing strategy, (c) recruit, train and manage a volunteer executive board, and (d) coordinate a mass-solicitation public phase; -Prepare existing clients for contract renewal or manage transition process to new contract;-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Raiser’s Edge database software
