What is the problem, and how do we get to a solution? That's where I come in.Let's take technical support, one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs I've done, for instance. It may seem obvious that the problem is whatever the customer presents - but it's rarely that simple. In building an understanding with the customer in order to identify a malfunction, misunderstanding, or unmet expectation, I was able to guide the customer toward a solution, building trust and loyalty.More than that, I helped our sales team overcome implementation objections, built a knowledgebase to help my team quickly find solutions and give consistent guidance, and summarized support activity to help our engineering team more fully understand the user experience and the results of their work. When I was promoted to sales, my technical knowledge was extremely helpful, as was the philosophy of understanding the customer's unmet needs and working toward implementing the solution.I find a similar philosophy applies whether I am working with students who need to learn and demonstrate mastery of a standard; peers who require a implementation of a solution and training; or clients looking to be matched with a product I can provide.What can I help you with?
