- Leading transversal strategic initiatives related to health, sustainability, better food across the company that will feed the brand differentiation and offer new innovative products or services to consumers (Bol.com, Lion’s footprint, Decathlon, Belhaize...)- Initiate, develop & follow up campaigns (above & below the line) for transversal branding topics linked to the core strategy of Delhaize- Successful leadership of strategically important projects and campaigns (e.g. winner Gold EffieAward, 2022)- Internal stakeholder management of cross-company departments (e.g. Category Management,Strategy, Store Concept, Legal, eCommerce, IT, Quality)- Coordinator and SPOC for external partners (e.g. agencies, structural partners)

The International traineeship started off with an extensive 6 months in three company owned stores. Here I was trained as a department leader, followed the store manager and got the chance to develop small projects. For the second rotation, I joined the Merchandising team of Hannaford (Maine, USA) where I contributed to projects focussing on Market Relevance, Local strategy, Customer engagement etc. As the final step I've worked on the end of year campaign of Delhaize Belgium delivering a unique brand experience for the customer (end of year pop-up, online reservation tool).

During a three month period I worked on a consultancy project that focussed on the specialty retail branch of Le Pain Quotidien.
