Registered Nurse
Current• Provide direct care to one to three high-acuity patients needing complex care such as ventilator management, extensive would care and rehabilitation, drip titration, CRRT, targeted temperature management, etc• Set up and monitor life support equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, transducers, pressure lines, oxygen deliver devices, mechanical ventilators and pulse oximeters • Cross trained in utilization review for service line• Effectively manage time to perform patient treatments according to urgency of patient condition• Delegate appropriate treatment needs to qualified staff to ensure effective and timely care to promote better outcomes• Coordinates and communicates with providers members, or other parties to facilitate optimal care, treatment, and discharge planning• Service to department as a preceptor and mentor• Documentation experience with Epic medical record system
