My internship at this company has been in the Maintenance and Facilities department. Over the past two months I have helped shape and develop preventative maintenance sheets for technicians. My main project has been working in the Waste Water Treatment Facility where I've been working on installing different sensors to detect filter wear and pump wear over time. I picked the sensors, as well as helped with the installation. I used ladder logic to take the information from the sensors and transfer it to readable data. This data was transferred to FactoryTalk screen where I was able to add more pages to the current interface to demonstrate the sensor data and allow people to visually detect trends.
