As an undergraduate senior at Gettysburg College looking to work in the medical administration field, I am driven by a passion for both healthcare and management. I aim to blend my Health Sciences and Business majors together to make a positive impact in the healthcare field. As a double major, I am able to present a wide perspective of how these two realms connect. My experience working as both a receptionist and a retail sales associate provides me with essential skills in customer service, project management, organization, and teamwork. Working as a peer learning associate for the business department has allowed me refine my skills in Microsoft applications as well as other data analysis tools. As a member of the softball team, I have learned over the years about the importance of teamwork, but also leadership. As a member of the Gettysburg College Softball Leadership Committee, I was able to undergo leadership trainings that gave me the tools necessary to be an effective and encouraging leader. I am eager to represent these skills gain real-world experience in the healthcare administration field, and I welcome any and all opportunities to connect with professionals in this field.
