Early Learning Corps, Reading Corps, and Math Corps are breakthrough AmeriCorps programs changing academic outcomes for thousands of students. With more than 2,000 tutors serving in 12 states and Washington D.C., Reading Corps is helping more than 35,000 students each year become successful. It combines the power of national service with evidence-based practices to deliver proven approaches that help struggling learners transform into confident students – something that translates into all areas of their lives.I am responsible for the leadership and direction of California programming with the goal of serving our children with high-quality tutoring. Our team sets the vision and direction for programs, and I lead the team to execute against that vision to maximize impact, while also providing an exceptional service experience for our AmeriCorps members and partnering schools and/or organizations. I provide leadership and direction to execute program innovations, continually engaging in a process to identify innovative approaches to our service delivery model. Our team nurtures partnerships and provides exemplary customer service to students, schools, and partners.

Milwaukee Succeeds is a broad-based, community-wide collaboration that aims to improve educational outcomes for every child in Milwaukee, in every school, cradle to career. Using a data-driven process that focuses resources on high-impact strategies, Milwaukee Succeeds begins to move the needle on what works for kids, and better position our children and our community for a successful future.I work with community partners to identify evidence-based practices and key drivers of change and scale up these practices to improve educational outcomes for Milwaukee children and families.

Improves Customer Experience by leading a team of cross-functional participants to swiftly resolve highly complex and technical customer issues. Project Manages long-term, strategic improvements using a depth of knowledge in Six Sigma, a process improvement methodology.

Manage lean projects to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Own availability of product and lead projects from forecasting to the customer experience.

Facilitates a network of community leaders with the goal of improving the social and emotional health of children and young people in Milwaukee.

Responsible for the materials planning team, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting program at a 163 person plant shipping over $1M per day. Led materials organization into SAP go-live by working with the SAP implementation team troubleshooting issues with data transfer from legacy system. Created and established plant-level metrics to drive continuous improvement.

LDP is a unique two year rotational program for entry-level professionals offering dynamic career growth in functional and business areas. Members assume immediate responsibility for critical functions and are identified as potential leaders of change within the organization. Held logistics, advanced manufacturing, procurement, and supervision positions.

As a calibration and test team member, learned, utilized, and implemented the Six Sigma methodology in a project to optimize burn-in testing from 16 hours to 8 hours for a bedside monitoring product line.
