Assistant Designer completing seasonal clothing lines which included all garment categories while working closely with Design, Production, and Sales teams. Proudly started the first Girls Sweater Line. Daily tasks included completing sketches with line sheets, CADs completed within clients guidelines and within the season, technical flats, made over 500+ detailed Tech packs to send to factories, sourced fabrics internationally, garment specifications, recoloring textiles/prints, and creating print worksheets with Pantone color codes, working with production system Simparel.

Researched trends and current fashions for future seasons. Assisted with buying fabrics and pulling together accessories to compliment pieces/outfits. Assisted with fabric cutting, sewing, construction, and setting up showrooms for sales/buyer meetings. Helped organize samples by keeping track of the type of item, color, size, etc. If/when the samples needed to be distributed to clients or social media influencers, I would pack and ship the samples. Assisted with planning model fittings and assured that the model wore the clothing piece or accessory properly. Assisted with planning for upcoming sales, events, and product launches for clothing or accessories. Provided administrative support, answering phones, checking, and replying to e-mails.
