As a driven junior at High Point University with dual majors in Marketing and Actuarial Sciences, my aim is to get more real-world work experience in the fields of marketing, branding, business analytics, risk analysis, and research opportunities.I thoroughly enjoy getting to delve deeper into all aspects of the business world. For example, I was able to explore the financial side of business throughout my experience as an accounting and credit intern at Service Wire Company this past summer. I was able to gain valuable insight into the Accounts Payable and credit processes. Currently I am a Marketing Intern for the Rheem Replacement Parts Division where I have been able to hone my knowledge of search engine optimization using the Conductor analytics platform in order to improve website traffic using keywords, and am continuing to gain insight into consumer behavior through logistics. I am proud to be the Treasurer at the collegiate branch of Kiwanis, Circle K. This has allowed me to not only get more involved with service opportunities on campus but also take up a leadership role while gaining knowledge of financial paperwork like reimbursements, invoices, and budget reports. Along with Circle K Treasurer, I am also the Marketing Assistant for the Robotics Club on campus where I am able to combine my passion of marketing with my love of STEM.Looking towards the future, I hope to be able to mix my passions for branding and statistics by focusing on consumer behavior research and analytics.
