Represent organization in government relations opportunities at national, state and regional levels. Responsible for budget oversight and seven direct reports. -Lobby for federal and state transportation policy through annual fly-ins, public testimony and legislative relationship building which resulted in political consensus and public policy change.-Significant stakeholder relationship building at all levels of government and among business leaders, resulting in consensus among local officials to pursue federal/state grant applications. -Convene the Northwest Mayors & Commissioners Coalition, recognized as a national model to effectively influence transportation public policy and multimodal transportation funding support. -Oversee federal and state lobbyists contracts resulting in relationship building with federal and state legislators to influence public policy.-Implemented regional transportation planning processes and advocacy efforts to garner $500M for US 36 multimodal reconstruction improvements that resulted in shifting mode choice by 30% and expanded use of transit and bicycling.-Co-led a grassroots campaign committee to support passage of Boulder County 1C to sustain an existing sales tax for multimodal transportation the 2022 November election.-Represented the region in the statewide 2018 Proposition 110 and led a regional advocacy effort which resulted in passage of the proposition and added new state funding for transportation.-Pioneered $1 million in grants to fund innovative commuting programs which resulted in the expansion of news vanpools, business EcoPasses and reduced Vehicle Miles Traveled by three million.
