Hello there! I am currently a freshman at the University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing my bachelor's degree in Marketing; in hopes of eventually earning my MBA. Earning my degree has always held a special kind of importance in regards to my goals for the future as I am a first-generation college student. Therefore, being the first in my family to earn my degree from a four-year university has driven me to seek new lessons and experiences beyond my immediate surroundings actively. Beyond college, I have found myself in the coffee industry for the past year. While school is something, I greatly value and consider to be of utmost importance, working in coffee has become one of my greatest pleasures. Working in the said industry has not only allowed me to gain new skills and provided me with a fast-paced and exciting work environment, but it has also allowed me to build relationships with a variety of people who frequent my workplaces. Making coffee and espresso-based drinks is only half of the pleasures working in the coffee industry has provided me with; what I value the most is the people I've met, connected with, and learned from. It's refreshing to experience firsthand how the world can shape and change a person and how eager people are to share their experiences.
