I have over three decades of professional experience, within fields as diverse as community engagement, town centre management, venue and events management, and the entertainment industry. I have spent the past eight years with Merton Council specialising in performance and risk management. However, earlier this year I plucked up the courage to resign in order to seek a better work/life balance - and pursue a long-held ambition.After recently obtaining my Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in Counselling Studies, I am absolutely delighted to announce that I have now started working for Change, Grow, Live as a Recovery Worker within a prison-based environment. This part-time role is exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier.
