Audrey Emerson is a Financial Advisor at Cultivating Wealth and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. Audrey’s journey in personal finance began in art school. Realizing her career choice might not come with a 401k match, her casual curiosity around personal finance turned into a more urgent interest. After graduating with a film degree from the University of Southern California, Audrey found her niche as a producer for social impact entertainment and corporate video. Her work with companies such as Netflix, Devlo Media, Creative Visions, Al Jazeera, IMAX and others have garnered several industry honors.When Audrey caught herself reading the Summary Plan Description for a friend’s retirement plan for fun, she decided to officially pursue her passion for personal finance and began studying for the CFP® exam which she passed in November 2021. Audrey is interested in helping creatives (and non-creatives) meet their financial and life goals and is excited to be supporting the team at Cultivating Wealth. Currently, Audrey lives in Bellingham, WA and loves to spend as much time outside as possible. If not at her desk, she may be out training for the Pan Mass Challenge bike ride or trying new restaurants!

Co-Founder/Co-DirectorCamp Kickst(Art) Mar 2013 - Aug 2013Tiverton, RiCamp Kickst(Art) is an arts-based day camp in Tiverton, Rhode Island for children ages 7-12. Campers will spend their days taking classes in art, theatre, dance, and music. After one week, they will create and put on a collaborative showcase to demonstrate what they’ve learned in each area of the arts. The camp is split up into a junior division (7-9 year olds) and a senior division (10-12 year olds). There are two sessions to accommodate a large number of campers, and each session is one-week long. At the end of each session, both the junior and senior divisions will present a showcase for friends, family, and the public. Audrey founded and oversaw the fundraising campaign of $6,000 in order to bring this camp to life reaching over 150 kids in the Rhode Island Area. Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide children with a creative environment to explore, create, and grow as artists and people through music, theater, art, and dance.
