AMOS is a company specialised in the conception, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of opto-mechanical system for worldwide professional ground-based telescope and space industry. As optical engineer, I am pleased to work in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment where adaptation, team working, rigor and excellence are daily requirements. My main duties are:– Conception of optical system configurations – Definition of opto-mechanical system tolerancing and specification, performance budget – Design, planning and execution of opto-mechanical test plan (AIV) – Technical coordinator with customers (oral presentations, analyses and reports) – Reference person in the optical design department – Animation and development of training workshops

(part-time from 2007 to 2011)As a member of the group 'Origins in Cosmology and Astrophysics', I developed methods to improve the photometry of astronomical images (e.g. MCS deconvolution method) and model the light curve of transiting exoplanets (with special care to the correction of instrumental systematics).My main tasks in research in Astrophysics were :- Development of data reduction pipelines- Analysis of large quantity of astronomical data- Image processing with expertise in the infrared domain- Astronomical observations- International collaborations- State of the art, science and technology watch- International scientific communication (written and oral)- Identification and modelling of a problem, development of solving tools- Project management and follow-up- Scientific programming I worked on Spitzer Space Telescope and Very Large Telescope photometric data. I also establish the photometric performance of the future space mission CHEOPS. As a teaching assistant at the Department of Physics, I was in charge of :- Weekly tutoring for bachelor students in veterinary sciences- Training new teaching assistants- Advising student physics lab

Science & Culture is a "non-profit-making organisation" that works towards sciences and culture outreach. One of its principal activities is the organisation of scientific shows dedicated to secondary school pupils, as well as conferences to a large audience. S&C edits booklets related to these exhibitions and a bimonthly member bulletin.In this part-time job, I was in charge of the scientific outreach:- Conception/reproduction of playful experiences in physics for secondary school students- Animation of scientific exhibitions- Pedagogical and scientific booklet writing/publication (8000-copy printings per event)- Webpage updates- Cost budgetisation and management- Request of fundings (DGO6)
