They specializes in crisis communication, communication strategy, media and public relations. My role was to lead successful public awareness campaigns, manage budget lines, create effective integrated marketing strategies to increase the reach of my client’s organizations while enhancing their reputation. Key responsibilities included:• Executed effective media and public relations handling driving meaningful public awareness with successful marketing strategies that corresponded to the budgets of each client • Identified communication opportunities, key stakeholders and built effective and efficient marketing and advertising campaigns on traditional and social media• Developed advocacy outreach strategies supporting client initiatives and increasing their organization’s reach by representing clients in public engagements throughout Canada. • Performed and drove companies business and communication objectives during fast paced crisis environment. Brazil And Canada

Within the context of Vale's Base Metals business strategies in Toronto, I helped deploy the Corporate Affairs strategic planning process, developed various international/Canadian action plans and tools involving Corporate Affairs teams worldwide as well as relevant external stakeholders. I also worked 8 months at the Vale headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and gained a general knowledge of the global nature of the mining business as well as the basics of the Portuguese language. The CA department in Brazil oversees Vale mining operations worldwide. Key responsibilities included:• Synthesizing and analyzing legislative, political and socio-economic issues in support of the development of Vale’s strategic direction, corporate position papers and project proposals • Supporting the development of Vale’s Aboriginal engagement strategy; a community relation strategy aligned with Vale’s global corporate responsibility strategy• Developing and supporting both international and Canadian strategic business plans involving the corporate affairs teams worldwide and the management of external stakeholders such as NGO’s and associations. Familiar with the exploration process, feasibility and social impact assessment studies• Actively participating in the development and management of both provincial and federal ministry relationships

ACTI-MENU, now CAPSANA, is a social organization that encourages individuals to look after their health, owned by the foundations of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and Centre Epic, as well as the PSI Foundation, in conjunction with the Montreal Heart Institute. Key responsibilities included:• Assisting in the creation of powerful communication tools and promotional objects that helped people effectively quit smoking and live healthy• Coordinating external communications related to provincial health challenges such as the Quit Smoking Challenge, the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge, and Smoke-Free Family • Managing production schedules, budgets, spokespersons and publicity for external campaigns • Writing, editing and design of essays and speeches • Coordinating events and conferences to raise the profile and reputation of ACTI-MENU and position it as a key player in the health promotion field

Key responsibilities included:• Mobilizing and recruiting representatives for the Youth Commission of the Party• Facilitating events and nomination ceremonies including Party Congresses• Writing and editing speeches and press releases together with the Communication Director • Monitoring media and preparing daily reports for the Director General of the Party• Recruiting volunteers and participants for fundraising activities and events• Building long lasting relationships based on respect and transparency with candidates and staff across the political spectrum
