As a corporate restructuring attorney, I regularly represent lenders and businesses to assess and resolve issues in chapter 11, 7, and 13 bankruptcies. In addition, I regularly assist lenders and energy companies in assessing their rights and remedies in the oil and gas sector. I have experience in analyzing business transactions and assisting creditors in filing proof of claims in bankruptcy cases. I assisted in the 11 U.S.C. § 363 sale of a national retail chain and have an understanding of the procedures and requirements of selling distressed assets. I also assist lenders and businesses in navigating the path to protect their collateral during a debtor's bankruptcy including lifting the automatic stay and negotiating the use of cash collateral. I have experience in representing creditors in adversary proceedings including fraudulent transfer and voidable preference litigation. Additionally, I assist creditors in the oil and gas industry by establishing and enforcing mineral liens in and outside of bankruptcy proceedings.
